   25th Reunion

Our 25th Reunion was a great success. We started out with our Mixer Night at Shooters Lounge at Cordova Lanes. It didn't take long for the years to erase since we'd seen each other last. We had a big buffet with my favorite being the Chocolate Fondue Fountain. Many of us spent the evening deciding who had changed the most, sharing family stories, and scanning through the yearbooks. Some of even braved the Karoeoke with a rendition of sorts of "We are Family". -------->-------->-------->

We had our Family Beach Day at Ft. Pickens Park. Was it ever hot! But several of us still braved the hot weather to bring our kids and enjoy the beach. We had Papa Johns pizza delivered thanks to their generous donation. We were a little too soon for the new pavillions to be up for us but we just put up a couple of tents and tables and our party began. It was a great day and we even found lots of sand dollars. I've never seen so many live sand dollars. Wendy Miller was able to get some to take home for each child in her class. I'm sure they'll be a big hit.

Our Program Night was held at Heritage Hall in Seville. It's a neat old building with an nostalgic atmosphere. We had a Memory Table set up with many items from our past. You know; Beepers, Eight Tracks, Records, Record Players, Typewriters, Old Yearbooks, Class Pictures, Schools items, and much more. We had a Memorial Table to remember those classmates we've have unfortunately lost. Terry put together a great slide show with pictures that some of you sent in, pictures from past reunions, and pictures from the mixer night and the beach. Mr. Buck and his wife Bonnie joined us for the fun and it was wonderful to see them again. Our dinner was delicious with the Carved Roast  Beef Table, Chicken and Bow Tie Pasta, Cheese Potatoes, Green Beans, and Salad. We had a decorated cake for dessert with that great whipped cream icing. Our music was provided by Complete Party Connections and the Dunning Company was there for us again taking our photos for the night to later put into our Photo Memory Book. If you would like to order one of these I will be providing a link for you to contact them. The books are $25.00.

Well if that wasn't enough, some of us extended the reunion for a week on the Carnival Cruise Ship "Holiday". We sailed out of Mobile to the Western Carribbean. Our Ports were Cozumel and Calica. I can't say enough about this. This was my first cruise and it was a blast. There was shopping, jeep rides, the beach in Cozumel, Snorkeling, Bingo, The Casino (Penny Slots!), Art Auctions, Shows, Tequilla (LOL),  Food, Food, and more Food. Oh, and did I mention the FOOD! If you were ever hungry on this trip it was your own fault. There was pizza, ice cream, midnight buffets, buffets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Or, if you'd rather have full service you could eat in the dining rooms each night (which I did). Lobster anyone? We had so much fun we are definitely offering this again after our 30th Reunion. Those attending the cruise were: Scott and Regina Esty, Wendy (Miller) and Randy Smith, Shannon (Wright) and Jerry Johnson with their three children, Carolyn Beverly Grandchamp, Tracy Bunn Theodos, Charlotte Moore Kelly, Jaquie Lockman Kane, Gloria Crutcher Young, Terry Collins and his cousin Ariell, Becky (Flowers) and Tim Madden, and Debbie Hayes Taylor.
